The original concept for the Manopoly® Game came about in mid 2019, that's when creator/designer Casey Sullivan thought up the idea of an adult board game for gay men. Keep in mind, this was before the Covid-19 pandemic. A time when people could freely get together, hangout, talk, and have sex; You know all that good stuff we take for granted now.
So while the idea was in it's infancy, it was also before it's time with respect to social gathering and distancing. The game would remain nothing more than an idea on paper until late 2020, when Casey happened upon a vintage gay board game from 1983. This was in fact the now notorious Gay Monopoly - 'A Celebration Of Gay Life'
Rumor has it that there were only a very limited number of copies of the game made, as it was produced by The Parker Sisters, a division of Fire Island games, and they were sued for copyright infringement by Parker Brothers (the company is no longer in business).
This was the fire (pun intended) that reignited the flame and desire to go forward with production of the Manopoly® Game.
After many steamy late night conversations with strangers on grinder, some design changes were made and new components added. A naughty spinner would become a focal point of the sexual aspect of the game. As well as the development of Cruising Park cards. With a creative writing team chatting and masturbating together nightly for several weeks, the final written word aspects of the product were put down on toilet tissue for later transcribing to a word document. Regrettably some of the best ideas were tossed in the trash after becoming soaked in semen, which made them smelly and illegible.
Now that a product was detailed on paper, it was time to find someone with enough graphic design knowledge to put it together. Casey employed the help of his brother, the furry artist Kitsune Youkai. Who's talent for furry comic artwork would prove invaluable. He'd spend a few days sketching up characters and scenes, before finally creating our board game heroes, Bull and Bear. The anthropomorphic bull and a gay leather bear daddy couple would become the face of the game's money and web presence.
Finally with all the graphic design done and 3D printed pieces and tokens fabricated, it was time to consult some manufacturers. As luck would have it, there were more than a few willing to take on the challenge but naturally, given the nature of the product they would prefer to remain nameless. Nevertheless, two of the world's larger printing and publishing companies began producing game components in early 2021. An with some components produced in studio at Triple-Fiction Productions, The Manopoly® Game was born! It has since been copyrighted and registered with the US copyright office.

Only a gay man could come up with a game that combines uninhibited gay sex and property trading. Yes indeed, a 37yo gay man by the name of Casey Sullivan. An what makes him qualified to design and create a product like the Manopoly Game? In addition to having a lifetime of gay experience, he also has nearly 20 years experience in CAD, CGI/animation, film production, product design and development. He's currently the owner/operator of Triple-Fiction Productions, a production company he founded in 2008.
Triple-Fiction Productions is a north Florida based production company. Established in 2008. We specialize in the production of *inspired* Movie/Film Prop Replicas and Action Figure Accessories. The Manopoly® Game is the first of our products not manufactured completely on site. It is proudly made in the USA from components produced by multiple US manufacturers and includes components produced on site here in our studio and assembled by our team.
All the graphics that adorn this game were created by the world renowned furry comic artist Kitsune Youkai. His style of artwork is ever present in each and every piece of this game. Our hosts 'Bull and Bear' are original creations of his, designed exclusively for the Manopoly Game®.
